The average farmer in the US is 60 years old—you read that right, so it may come as a surprise to see a new wave of young, and dare I say hot farmers inundating my timeline. It’s not just in the US as far as South America and as close as Canada, these young farmers are leveraging their looks to get their farms on the map. GrantsGrassFed has almost 200K followers on Instagram, he recently launched a beef jerky using the meat from their farm cattle, his bromance series with his co-worker Chago is pretty popular, some of their videos have gotten over a million likes, Grant could easily cosplay as a Ralph Lauren model.
With almost half a million followers, theJackedRancher is a regenerative farmer who is mostly seen wearing unclasped denim overalls and posing shirtless with his farm animals, Bruno from La Joya Agro has 2.5 million followers who indulge in his farm content in Argentina, his endearing videos of him calling out for his favorite cow Maria, whilst shirtless, garner hundreds of thousands of likes. Liam Swiderski is a literal IMG model who owns Hahndorf Farm Barn and has over 200K followers, his pictures include him posing shirtless with ducks and wearing cowboy attire while posing with sheep. We’ve talked a lot on here about the pervasiveness of farmer cosplay, but seeing actual people who work in farms making it appealing for new generations by leveraging social media and content, it’s one of those happy news that may just restore hope in this sick sad world.
