As we predicted, spicy beverages are on the rise—Coca-Cola has previewed it’s “spiced coke” at NACS trade show, debuting next year.
Flavor is “raspberry spiced” and according to the company will be ‘Playing into increased consumer curiosity around spice in beverages and the popularity of Coca-Cola.'
This isn’t the first time they’ve experienced with a spicy palate, their line of “mixers” included one with notes of jalapeño, ginger, lime amongst other flavors.
Speaking of spicy beverages, another wine brand debuts “spicy”—Heartbeat recently launched with their brand of spicy rosé RTD, and seems like others are following suit.
Canned wine craze—earlier this year the New York Times reported wine had an “old people problem” aka, only boomers are buying bottles, and millennials have led the canned wine boom.
